Midlands Gold team makes another teenaged signing.
The recently formed match team Maver Midlands Gold has announced a further expansion of its ranks with another local signing.
Continuing its trend for getting young blood into the team, captain Gary Plant has recruited 17-year-old angler Jordan Hall to fish for the Maver-backed squad.
The move follows the recent signing of 16-year-old Mitch Davidson, who has already proved an impressive member of the team after recently winning back-to-back opens at Preston Boldings Pools. And it already looks like Jordan could be equally impressive after winning an open at Kings Pool in the Midland on his very first outing in his new colours.
"I have been watching Jordan since last summer,” said team captain Gary Plant. “At 17 years old, he already has a number of very impressive open match wins against his name, and in doing so, he has taken a number of big scalps along the way. "He’s definitely a positive addition to our squad. The future is exciting for him," added Gary.
