All Set For World Pairs 2014

The angling world prepares for the third World Pairs in Ireland

Ireland is very much back on the map and on the angling calendar as it readies itself for an influx of some of the best anglers around as they compete for the title of World Pairs Champions 2014.

Now in its third year, and with demand on the increase, this prestigious festival is set to be one of the very best yet. Reigning champions Cathal Hughes and Phillip Jackson scooped last year’s huge cash prize and became titleholders for the second year running.

They will certainly be hot favourites going into this year’s event. Can they make it a hat-trick? With many of Europe’s best preparing to make the journey to stop the two Irish stars, one thing is for sure, great fishing, experiences and of course the craic will all be had.

The promise of big bags of roach, bream, and the ever popular hard-fighting hybrid, sees people now flooding back to Ireland experiencing some of the most fantastic fishing and scenery anywhere.

Bait-Tech yet again show commitment as one of the proud event sponsors and have donated more than £1500 of prizes for all the anglers attending. Each angler will be receiving some of the new sought after Pro Natural or Pro Natural Bream. Groundbait Mixes that our two reigning Irish Stars have helped develop.

The festival runs from September 8th-12th and is spread over some of the best-known waters Ireland has to offer.
