Bud Makes A Comeback
Buchwalder begins margin extraction.
Michael "Bud" Buchwalder has comeback from a slow start on the Drennan Knockout Cup Final at Docklow Pools, following the arrival of some big fish down the margins.
Lee Kerry took an early lead, catching occasional carp and silver fish on pole tactics, while Michael struggled to present a rig due to an accumulation of scum and fallen leaves in his peg. At 12.40, Match Fishing's men on the bank had Bud down as being 18lb behind Lee – but then a move to margin tactics saw Bud bank a succession of big fish.
At 13:30, it was estimated that Bud had moved in front of Lee, with 60lb to Lee's 44lb.
