Change At The Top

Addy and Keeley lead the pairs.
After another hectic days fishing on the lochs and rivers of Ireland, it was all change at the top for competitors in the 2013 World Pairs Angling Challenge.

The first day leaders, Francis McGoldrick and Dave Brettle dropped down to ninth place, with North West duo Lee Addy and Paul Keeley moving into top spot. In the individual stakes, Englands Rod Scott is setting the pace with a two day total of 52.46kg.

Again, the fishing was good with big weights of skimmers, roach and hybrids throughout the match lengths. It is testament to the quality of the sport that a massive 67.18kg is needed to make the top ten.
