Drennan launch Acolyte Carp Waggler rods.

Fans of the exquisite Drennan Acolyte float rods will be doing cartwheels at the news of the launch of the Acolyte Carp Waggler rods.

Some of the nicest rods available, the Acolyte range has found favour with anglers everywhere thanks to its super slim blank and featherweight construction.

There are two rods in the carp range, an 11ft and a 12ft version. Both are two-piece offerings allowing the user ease of use when it comes to setting the rods up before your session.

Both rods continue the featherweight theme with the 11ft tipping the scales at 4 ½ oz while the 12 footer is only a quarter of an ounce heavier. The super-light rods can only increase the comfort of using them for a full five hours.

The rods have been designed with progressive actions, ideal for playing hard-fighting carp. Yet they still retain plenty of backbone to allow larger floats, such as the Drennan XL Pellet Wagglers, to be punched out a considerable distance.
