The Date Is Out

It’s the announcement that all our loyal subscribers have been waiting for. Yes, the details for the fantastic Subscriber Classic are finally here!
Last year’s was the first time we ran the competition across both Pole Fishing and sister title Match Fishing, and we saw an exceptional turnout. The fishing and atmosphere was so good that we have chosen to stick to the same winning format.
That means Barston Lakes and Packington Somers fisheries will once again play host to this amazing event.
Both venues are just a five-minute drive apart and offer brilliant and varied fishing among beautiful surroundings. It's not just carp either, because quality bream, tench and roach are also on the cards. Once again, the format will be ‘any method’ – so you are free to fish the pole, waggler or feeder on the day.
We have limited the event to 200 anglers on a first-come, first-served basis. If last year’s event was anything to go by, tickets will sell extremely quickly!

THE FORMAT
This one-day event is to be held on Friday, September 20th, 2013 on Packington Somers Fishery and Barston Lakes in Warwickshire.
The day will see a random draw, where any angler (regardless of the magazine they subscribe to) can draw on either of the two complexes, which are just one mile apart. Barston will host 80 anglers and Packington 120.
SPONSORS
Shimano and Dynamite Baits have very kindly agreed to sponsor this event again, with tackle and bait prizes for overall and section winners!
Subject to entry, every five pegs will win £50 cash plus approximately £40 worth of Dynamite Baits goodies.
As with last year, there will also be some free goodies given to every single competitor on the day when they draw in the morning!
PRESENTATION
There will also be post-match food laid on for each angler at the Barston Club House, where the presentation will also take place (£5 per angler will be taken from the £30 entry fee to cover after-match catering).
ENTRY
The event is strictly limited to 200 pegs and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Your entry needs to be made in full and you must submit your completed form and £30 cheque by Friday, August 2nd, 2013.
As an added incentive to enter, the top four anglers on the day will also win themselves a place in Round One of the prestigious Drennan Knockout Cup!
