The Final Countdown!

Just one week left for Garbolino Club Angler Of the Year Entries!
Due to popular demand, an extension has been placed on the Garbolino Club Angler Of The Year, meaning anglers now have another seven days to get their entry forms in!

Once again Garbolino has pledged its unanimous support for the biggest event in the Match Fishing club calendar – the prestigious Club Angler of the Year!

This is every club angler’s opportunity to step up to the plate and prove themselves as the country’s number-one club angler, as others have done in previous years.

There’s over £10,000 worth of top tackle prizes and some lucrative cash prizes to be won too! (All cash prizes subject to entry.) As ever there’s a unique glass trophy for the winner, who will also receive an invitation to fish the 2014 Drennan Knockout Cup competition, giving them the chance to lift that huge title too!

The qualifiers will run in the same format as previous years, with three regional fish-offs. The first will be at Tunnel Barn Farm on Friday, April 19th, the second at Woodland Lakes Thirsk on Friday, May 3rd and the third at Colemans Cottage on Friday, May 17th.

The 45-peg final is again at Doncaster’s fantastic Lindholme Lakes this year, on Friday, June 28th, where 15 qualifiers from each fish-off will battle it out for glory!

It’s up to you and your club to decide who represents you in the regional fish-offs. Perhaps your 2012 club champion, or the winner of a series, or you may wish to hold a one-off qualifying match to see who gets the chance – the choice is yours! Only one member from each club may fish a qualifier. Are you good enough?

What Makes You Eligible To Fish?

Because this is a club angler event it’s only open to those who meet the following criteria:

•  Someone who does not regularly fish open matches (occasional open matches are acceptable)
•  Someone who does not fish for a team
•  No tackle-manufacturer sponsorship (tackle-shop sponsorship is acceptable)

The editor’s decision is final, but if you are in any way unsure please contact the editorial team on 01327 311999.
