Garbolino Club Angler Entry Form
Here is the entry form for the eagerly anticipated 2014 Garbolino Club Angler of the Year event.
You can apply via the magazine, but if you don't have a copy you can use this form, click here to download. Simply print it out and send in the completed slip, along with a cheque for £20, to the given address – simple.
There are three exciting changes to this year’s event, the first of which sees each club able to nominate TWO anglers to fish a qualifying round rather than just one! Not only will this help to grow the event further, but will allow two anglers from each club to fly the flag in the most prestigious event in the match fishing club calendar.
The second change sees the Southern qualifier moved to Viaduct Fishery, Somerset, to appeal to more clubs and to offer some of the most exciting fishing this country has to offer. And, finally, we’ve got a new venue for the final, too!
Once again Garbolino has pledged its generous support to allow club champions or nominated anglers to compete at the highest level of club match fishing and be crowned as the best in the country!
There’s over £10,000 worth of top tackle prizes and cash prizes to be won too! (All cash prizes subject to entry.) As ever there’s a unique cut-glass trophy for the winner, who will also receive an invitation to fish the 2015 Drennan Knockout Cup competition, giving them the chance to lift that prestigious title too!
The qualifiers will run in the same format as previous years, with three regional fish-offs. The first is at Lindholme Lakes on Wednesday, April 16th, the second at Tunnel Barn Farm on Wednesday, May 14th, and the third at Viaduct Fishery on Wednesday, June 4th.
The 45-peg final (15 from each qualifying round) will be held on Wednesday, July 9th, at Worcestershire bagging Mecca Cob House Fisheries, which not only offers fantastic fishing but superb catering facilities too.
It’s up to you and your club to decide which two anglers represent you in the regional fish-offs. Perhaps the two most consistent anglers of the last year, or the winners of a series, or you may wish to hold a one-off qualifying match to see who gets the chance – the choice is yours! Are you good enough?
