The June issue of Match Fishing is out now!

June can be a tricky time for fishing, with a mix of spring and summer weather, spawning and so on, but the anglers in our June issue show you how to get the most from your time on the bank, led by England star Will Raison. One of the best in the world, he tells how many anglers are missing out on fish because they’re fishing too far out, and proves his point by catching plenty of F1s and carp on a short pole.
We’ve got one of Wales’ finest too, as we follow Mikey Williams through the David Hall Memorial match at the Glebe Fishery, where he has to work hard for his fish, plus Emma Pickering and Abbey Cutting show a bit of girl power as they go head-to-head on the pole and feeder.
Graham West is also battling late spring conditions in a Venue Detective at Stanborough Lake, while Vince Cross targets everything that swims in his Goldilocks approach and Roger Phillips demonstrates how fishing light could catch you more.
We also have regular diarists Andy Power, Cam Hughes and Kye Jerrom and John Brooks telling how their months have gone, Joe Carass sharing his advice for June, and all the results and action from Match Fsihing’s first two events of the year, the Veterans Spring up at Barston and the Northern Garbolino Club Angler of the Year qualifier at Lindholme Lakes. There are on-the-bank reviews of the latest Shimano margin poles and MAP seatbox, a good look at the NuFish Silo feeders, plus the chance for four readers to each win a Shimano X5 Distance Feeder rod – don’t miss it!
