Korum get behind award winning 'Angling Projects' scheme.
Club Korum has joined forces with Les Webber’s Angling Projects in a bid to get even more youngsters hooked on fishing in 2013.

I Heart Fishing ambassador, Nigel Botherway, visited Angling Projects' Wraysbury headquarters to present Les with Club Korum fishing kits to help them with future angling events.

The float, feeder and pole packs include a How To DVD featuring Nigel and former world champion, Tommy Pickering. Also included is an instructional booklet and species spotter guide, which will be used by the 2,000 youngsters expected to visit the centre this year.

Les, who has been introducing youngsters to the wonders of angling since 1976, is delighted to have the support of Club Korum and its parent company, Preston Innovations.

He commented: “With Nigel’s help, we will run some Korum Fishing Fun Days at Angling Projects, which will hopefully convert yet more young anglers into our sport,” said Les, who was awarded an MBE for his services to angling in the 2008 Queen’s Birthday Honours List. "These kits will make a huge difference to the quality of our project moving forward."
