Raison's Tackle & Guns ready for opening

One of the UK’s premier fisheries, Gold Valley Lakes, is all set to open its brand-new angling superstore. The project has been ongoing for quite some time but it is now ready and looking in fine shape!

The shop is a 3,000 sq ft megastore where anglers can see all of the latest tackle on display. There will be a pole alley, along with a rod rack and a huge range of reels so anglers can get hands-on with all the gear, plus a mass of terminal tackle and bait for both the match and carp angler.

Raison’s Tackle & Guns will be the go-to shop in the Aldershot area, with unlimited free parking, plus the clubhouse and lakes. Of course, England international and former world champion Will Raison is also on hand to offer advice and tips to any of the customers – where else offers that kind of service?

The store stocks many of the major brands such as Daiwa, Drennan, Preston Innovations, Korda, Mainline Baits, Old Ghost and many more, so if there’s a specific item of tackle you need, this shop is likely to have it!

The Raison family has a long heritage in running tackle shops, having opened their first way back in 1932!

Will had this to say: “We are delighted to be opening this shop as it is something we have been planning for a few years now. It has taken a serious investment to get it up and running but now we have a shop to be proud of. I think anglers will really enjoy using it and having the chance to see all of the tackle is a big bonus. The new shop will have a grand opening on the weekend of February 22nd.
