The Return Of The Legends

Garbolino launch new poles for 2014...
Names like the Super Legion and Power Legion are enshrined in angling folklore, being rightly regarded as some of the best poles of their time.

Now, over a decade after the Super Legion was first launched the legend is to be reborn - as Garbolino launches its state of the art pole range for 2014.

Garbolino's UK manager, Darren Cox explained: "The Super Legion and Power Legion were the two best selling poles that Garbolino ever produced, and have rightly reached legendary status in the world of pole fishing. I firmly believe that our range of poles for 2014 are the best that we have ever made, and more than worthy of the title bestowed upon them.

At the top of the range is the flagship GMax Super Legion, which retails for £2,699 - making it one of the most competitively priced poles of its level. It is better balanced, lighter and stronger than anything that has gone before it - and continues our tradition of  offering an exceptional spares package.

It is supplied with a total of ten top kits, including three match kits, three power kits three puller kits and an extendable potting kit. It is also supplied with two short No4 kits - an unbelievable package in all.

Stepping down a level in price is the GMax Supermatch. This retails for £2,000, and is supplied with the same top kit configuration as its big brother. The only difference in package is that the Supermatch is supplied with one less short No4.

Next down in the range is the GMax Competition Carp pole. This is also supplied at 16 metres, and is provided with a total of eight topkits. This sells for £1,300, and offers outstanding value for money.

The original Power Legion was Garbolino's biggest selling pole, and the new GMax Power Legion could well be set to follow in its footsteps. Supplied at 14.5m, and retailing for just £975, this is supplied with your choice of seven kits, and a short No4.

On top of this, we are launching a brand new series of G Series Match poles. There are a total of five in this range, with the most expensive being the 16m M5, retailing at £1,200, moving down to the cheapest, the M9 which sells for £399. What we have tried to do here is give the customer options. Firstly they have choice in terms of how much to spend - as we have covered the most affordable price points quite comprehensively. Secondly, we are allowing customers to personalise exactly what top kits they want - choosing between match kits, puller kits and power kits to suit the type of fishing that they like to do.

Of course, all the above poles are fully interchangeable with top kits from previous 'G series' poles. We have already been overwhelmed by the response that we have recieved from shops, and our first consignment of poles has almost sold out! We have of course, held review samples back for Match Fishing, Pole Fishing and Total Coarse Fishing though - so if you are in any doubt as to how good these poles are, you can check out the reviews early next year!"
