The Commercial House seasonal competition fished on the Kennet and Avon canal.
The first really hard frost greeted the anglers who turned out for this Christmas match. Conditions were bright and clear making some areas fish very hard. It was a tight match with only four and a half ounces separating the top three anglers.

Andy Power won the match from the brambles. He started on bread at 5metres and caught around 70 small roach. After this he fished bloodworm and joker at 11metres and caught over 80 small roach. He also caught a perch of around a pound on worm for a total of 6lbs 3.5oz.

Kev Dicks was 2nd from two past the wires. He started on bread at 5metres and had a really good first half hour catching 4lb of skimmers up to 1lb and decent roach up to 12oz. He added 2lb of perch up to 12oz caught at 14.5metres tight to a feature for a total weight of 6lb 0.5oz.
