Due of the strong winds on the day event winner John Darby opted to fished the pole short at 5m with meat over pellet at peg 39. It was a decision that saw him catch all match, landing carp to 10lb to amass the only ton of the competition with a level 118lb.
Second placed Roy Butterfield also fished the pole but with corn out at 7m and down both margins for carp to 7lb, just heading off the tight completion behind him with 84lb 7oz.

Winner John Mosley fished the pole and meat out at 6m and down the margin for 20 carp to 6lb at peg 40 in gale force winds to win by just under 10lb.
Lee Payling, who has been dominant ever the past few week took second after fishing the pole and caster short at 5m for Ide and skimmers and a total of 44lb 3oz.
