A very cold start to the match, and with the water temperature down to just 6 degrees Celsius it was a real struggle for the first half of the match.

In top spot Carl Brown fished the pole and pellet out at 11 and 14m from peg 27, landing 18 carp to 6lb, all caught in the last 2 hours. Second place went to Worksop’s Andy Lakey. Drawn at peg 24 he fished the pole with pellet and worm to land 18 carp up to 6lb.
