If you are aged under 22 and like river fishing, you will want to get involved in the Evesham Junior Angling Championship!
Sponsored by Match Fishing Magazine, and tackle giants Matrix, the event not only sees competitors stand a chance of winning top tackle prizes – but the winner of both the junior and the intermediate category will also win a ticket for, and free entry to the Evesham Festival Match Fishing Championship.
This event is commonly regarded as river fishing’s most rich and prestigious event, and boasts invited stars including Alan Scotthorne, Will Raison, Des Shipp, Dave Harrell and Matt Godfrey!
The Junior Angling Championship takes place on Saturday, August 2nd on Evesham’s River Avon, and will consist of a four-hour match for under 16s, and a five-hour match for under 22s. Competitors must be under the required age on the date of the match. The cost is just £6 for a junior, or £12 for an intermediate.
