Victoria Products League - Round eight saw the club back on Kiaora for the last time until the final league match in October and with a settled period of weather in the run up to the match prospects were good. Twenty anglers fished and on the day the form peg one was the place to be. Steve Jeffery fished an excellent match landing twelve carp for a total weight of 54lb 10oz - He won the £70 1st prize and ten league points. Runner up winning £55 and eight league points was Eddie Evans (Team Jinx) From peg 8 with 41lb 8oz. Eddie had to swap between methods to find some fish and a late run of big fish form the margin boosted his catch. Completing the frame in third place was Duncan Hill with seven carp for 38lb 14oz he was section B so took ten league points and £35. Fishing the unfavoured peg five he caught on the method feeder tight to the island and in the margins late on. Section A winner Zac Newton, 34lb 10oz, peg 8; Section ! B winner Andy Bulled, 33lb, peg 24

Evening Series - The evening match had to be moved to the canal due to the heavy rain which mean't that just four anglers fished the Lime Kilns. Duncan Hill won from peg 5 with a surprizing bag of bream that fell to feeder tactics in the latter stages of the match - his catch totalled 11kg 850g.
