Tuesday’s open though, Tony Evans topped the field with 29lb 6oz ahead of steve lane. Tony used maggots and pellet at 11.5m on the slope to take small carp, tench and a couple of bonus bream.

Thursday Over 50s

Thursday’s over 50s contest was won once again by John Gooden using flavoured maggot down the edge and tight across to take eight bonus bream, small ide and stockies for 42lb.  Second placed Ray Tusker used worm and caster down the track to place 38lb 8oz.

Skylark Lake

Sunday’s open was won once again by lake specialist Steve Lane using pellet at 11m over micro pellets he managed to tempt bream, skimmers, carp and small barble for 37lb 12oz from peg 13.
