The week's open match results from Lincolnshire's Westwood Lakes.



All matches this week were switched to the more sheltered Kestrel Lake and anglers found it difficult to present anything.

Tuesdays open was won by the in form Ron Roberts using a flavoured small inline method with double dead red maggot with Marukyu 130 ground bait from peg 21.

Second place Paul Quinton used similar tactics to the winner but late switch to a maggot feeder saw him have a good last hour.

Thursday’s over 50s open on Kestrel Lake was extremely tough. Bag ‘Em backed Smudge Smith came out on top from peg 7 on Kestrel using a small open-ended feeder with banded pellet.

Sunday’s open was won by Marukyu-backed Steve Lane from peg 10 using open-end feeder with dead red maggot. Gary Walton used identical tactics to take runner up.
