You Have To Be In It To Win It!

Tickets selling out for Mega Match This.
'You have to be in it to win it' has become somewhat of a catch phrase, but to be in with a chance of winning angling's most prestigious event, nothing could be more true! And with ticket sales showing a significant increase on 2012, more and more anglers are opting to secure their tickets earlier than ever to be in with a chance of winning a minimum £50,000.

Tickets for the 2013 Maver Mega 'Match This' event have been on sale since New Year's day and began to sell just minutes after being released. Since then, tickets have continued to sell well and have surpassed 2012 sales by 27% over the same eleven day period.

Maver MD, Philip Briscoe, is delighted with how ticket sales for this year have started, commenting "Mega Match This continues to go from strength to strength".

New Venues Proving Popular

Without doubt, the most popular venue in the opening days of tickets sales has proven to be Roy Marlow's Glebe Fishery in Leicestershire. Normally a syndicate water, Roy Marlow has agreed to open the venue to the public specifically for the purpose of the Mega 'Match This' qualifier. But how do you practice on a syndicate venue that remains closed to non-members for the remainder of the year?

The Mega 'Match This' qualifier has been placed to coincide with the popular Ivan Marks Memorial match taking place the week before. The Ivan Marks Memorial is open to all anglers and will serve as an ideal opportunity to practice ahead of the Mega 'Match This' qualifier taking place on Sunday 26th May.

Other stand-out venues include Decoy Lakes, Peterborough and Hayfield Lakes, Doncaster -  both of which are brand new venues for 2013.
