Pole Pot Perfection!

Our editorial assistant Jake Fowles takes a close look at the impressive Grip-Flex Pro Pole Pots from Middy!

Here at Match Fishing magazine we are continually impressed by the range of products that come out of the Middy factory and grace the shelves of tackle shops up and down the country. It is not always just the flashy range of poles, rods or other larger items that catch our eyes, either. Sometimes small items can be equally impressive, and that is certainly the case with the Grip-Flex Pro Pole Pots that Middy has unleashed on to the market. The Grip-Flex pots come in a two-pot package that features a unique press-flex base, allowing you to attach the pots to your top kits easily. Due to the soft TPE grip base you run no risk of damaging the section either, just press the inside of the pot and the slot will open.

It is instantly noticeable when handling the pots how lightweight and solid they are. Attaching one to the tip of your pole will have no detrimental affect on your pole’s performance or knock it out of balance. Further to this the clever construction of the pot means it remains a solid unit rather than disfiguring when clipping it on to your pole and due to their low centre of gravity it remains easy to ship out. As well as standard anti-spill rims, an additional ‘secret micro chamber lid’ is also included. This allows you to convert the smaller of the two included pots into a micro pot, perfect for potting in a very small amount of bait or even just fooling other anglers around you into thinking you are feeding much more than you actually are!

Each set is available for £4.99 a package, which includes both a small and medium pot as well as the micro lid converter that simply slots inside the small pot.
