Match Fishing takes a quick look at two of Milo’s latest releases for safe tackle transportation.
With rods, top kits and poles costing plenty of money it’s a wise idea to protect your investment and get it to the bank in order.
These two latest releases, which will be available in both black and red colours, will help you to achieve just that. Made from a rigid material, the rod holder allows safe transportation thanks to this outer protection, but also the array of pockets and straps on the inside will help to lock your precious goods in place during transit and accessory pockets afford more space for essentials.
Why Use Fluorocarbon?
Have you ever tried fluorocarbon? If not, you may want to after reading Matt Godfrey’s opinion…
I had a real love-hate relationship with fluorocarbon the first few times that I used it. I loved the concept of it, but hated tying it up… it was a nightmare! For those that don’t know, fluorocarbon is a material that is supposed to be invisible under water. Personally, I don’t think it is… I can still see it, so I’m sure the fish can too. I actually think they can sense line more than see it, as their eyes are on the sides and tops of their heads.

Just What I Want! Our features editor, Matt Godfrey, has been using Preston Innovations pole rollers for 12 months now… here’s what he makes of them!
I have never been fussy about what kind of pole roller I use. In 2005 I bought one of the original green Preston Innovations V-Rollers, and guess what… it’s still in my carryall now! Preston still makes them too – the official product name is the Super Pro V Roller. It comes into play whenever I have a bit of awkward banking behind me, and need to get the pole high or over an obstacle. The legs that extend twice over allow me to make the roller five feet high.
