Sunday Open
Hawk Lake
Sunday’s open match was fished on the popular Hawk Lake for a change. Despite the strong winds Westwood Lakes-backed Wayne Smith made the most from his fancied drawn peg to net 43lb 10oz of small carp, ide and barble, all taken on maggot hookbait over micro pellets tight to the corner of the bridge. Second was the ever-consistent Mick Stamp with a mixed bag for 37lb.

Tuesday Open
Skylark Lake
Tuesday’s open was fished on Skylark Lake and Alec Rawlins just sneaked ahead of mick brumpton to stop him winning the golden peg. Drawing peg 40 Alec used soft 4mm pellet and red maggot hook bait over 4mm feed pellet to take 52lb 6oz of carp, tench, bream, ide and a big chub pushing 5lb. Second place Mick Brumpton fished corn tight across for 47lb of all carp from peg 24.

Thursday Over 50s Open
Skylark Lake
Thursday’s over 50s was won by Ted Rowe from peg 2 on Skylark. Ted fished worm and caster to tempt bream, skimmers and small carp to total 39lb, just edging out Ropsley AC’s Ray Tusker from the win.
