Frenzee Soft Pots, Wagglers And Double Pole Sock

One of the items to be launched from this stable is the brand-new range of Soft Pots. Having spoken to the guys at Frenzee it’s clear they’re not happy producing products “just for the sake of it;” they want to be innovative and the Soft Pots certainly tick this box.
Pole-mounted pots are available in a multitude of sizes, shapes and colours. The Soft Pots, as the name suggests, are soft in texture, being made from a lightweight rubber compound rather than plastic. They fit onto the tip section in a quite ingenious and different way from the norm. Rather than slide the pot down to its fixed position, simply squeeze the sides and the bottom of the pot opens; you then place the pot over the pole tip at the required place and release. The open arms spring shut and grip your pole tip at the desired position.
Another added bonus is the material used. You might think that these wouldn’t have enough strength to hold onto the pole tip when loaded with bait… wrong! The plastic-moulding experts have come up with a material that almost seems to bond to your top kit, meaning they only come off when you take them off. Over the years I have seen so many tip sections break where people mistreat traditional pots. Constant use would mean damage over time and a weak pole tip will always give way when you least want it to.
The pots, available in three sizes, also all come supplied with removable ‘sprinkle-type’ lids, making their applications as versatile as possible.
After the recent launch of Frenzee’s new ‘Stretch’ elastic, Match Fishing also had a sneak peek at other new products the Welsh manufacturer has in store. You can expect to see a brand-new range of wagglers and a new design of pole sock soon. The sock really caught our eye because this design incorporates a double compartment, allowing you to break your pole down twice and store each length separately and securely in the same sock! It looks the part in the attractive orange and black livery, too.
The wagglers will involve a traditional-style peacock with a modern twist and, again, have been produced to solve some niggling problems that today’s top match anglers suffer from.
