Heavy rains and cold nights for a few days before the festival kept the weights down a little lower than normal this year as the carp refused to settle down and feed. Most caught on the method or open end feeder with corn or maggot. Top individual weight on the day was Dara Finnegan on day 3 with 47.

Sherwood LakeTuesday 29/11/1114 fishedWinner Ian Boyd drew hot carp peg 40 and fished a small pellet feeder with corn and meat hookbait landing 10 carp to 5lb and half a dozen skimmers to 1lb finishing nearly 25lb in front of 2nd place with 45lb 10oz. Dave fished the pole and caster all match at 5m because of the strong winds to land skimmers and ide to 12oz. Results 1st Ian Boyd Rivendell AC peg 40, 45-10-02nd Dave Round Mansfield Busman AC peg 59, 20-12-03rd John Holmes Sherwood Forest Fishery peg 41, 18-5-04th Fred Bispham Peg One Angling Centre peg 61, 16-7-05th John Wooff Sherwood Forest Fishery peg 51, 11-1-0Holmedale Lake Wednesday 30/11/1121 fished Winner Andy David drew the bore hole peg 31 fishing the pole and maggot up in the water and on the deck he landed carp up to 6lb and loosing has many weighing in a creditable 66lb 14oz to take his first win at the fishery.

Round 4 of the Sensas Commercial House League on the Bristol Avon. With bright sun and clear water the river fished very up and down. Many people only had ounces but there were still ten double figure weights. Tim Ford drew on the style at Jack Whites, which often produces weights of dace up to 20lb.

Fifth round of the Wye League The fifth round of the Wye League saw tricky conditions and some low weights as a result. The night before the match the river rose 8feet and as anglers reached their pegs the water in front of them was dropping and heavily coloured. The best weight on the day went to Wizrds team member Danny Baker who amassed 38lb 4oz from peg 39. This was over double the weight of the second placed Hady Whittle who weighed in 14lb 7oz from peg 76.

The fishing was a little tougher than usual on the latest round of the Harrisons League, with colder weather and clear water starting to take its toll. Best on the day was Pole Fishing Magazine's Tom Scholey, who backed up four lobworm caught perch with some quality roach on bread punch for a total weight of 8-7-0.
