Hugely successful Inaugural competition sees over 200 anglers hit the bank from across the UK. One of the biggest matches of the year has proved a huge success when 210 anglers lined 26km of Yorkshire’s river Hull for the River Hull Angling Championship. Run as a fish survey match to help the East Yorkshire Chalk Rivers trust and the Environment Agency, the huge event saw anglers from across the country come to compete. In the end though it was local knowledge that won the day, with Hull angler Mick Anderson bagging 3.

Tough going on the third round of the Sensas Commercial House League. With the river still being very clear and slow flowing most anglers really struggled for bites with only 7 weights over 5 lbs. There were even blanks recorded. Dave Haines won the match for BTM services from peg 77.
