The Environment Agency is seeking a business partner for an exciting year long pilot project to increase online rod licence sales.

Working between 2014 and 2015, the agency are seeking a business partner to provide an attractive web-based offer that will help persuade more anglers to buy their rod licence online.

The organisation explained: "We’re looking for a reliable, innovative and dynamic creative partner to work together with us and our licensing contractor, the Post Office Ltd.

For the first time ever we’re offering the opportunity of unique access to our rod-licence buying customers.

Our customers are freshwater anglers and so any offer must be related to freshwater angling. Their choice to buy their rod licences online, and opt-in to further mailing will be directly influenced by the quality of offer that the business partner can bring forward. We need a business partner with a strong online market presence, clear relationship with all disciplines of freshwater angling and a proven track record of secure online sales and fulfilment.

You will need to provide a reliable online service that can supply potentially over a million freshwater angling customers annually, and which spans a wide social profile."
