Preston Innovations Gxr 3600 Pole

The Preston Innovations stand was extremely impressive as always.

The Absolute Station was a real standout product in my eyes but I loved the GXR 3600. I have used a Preston pole for two years now and my current One XS model is by far the best I have used.
I must admit, though, that I thought the new GXR 3600 was something special. It has a fairly low RRP of £1,499 and you get one hell of a pole for that price!
First up is the performance; my good friend Tom Scholey currently uses the 3600’s predecessor, the 3001, and that pole has been fantastic for him. This one, though, is miles better. It is unbelievably stiff and I couldn’t help but be impressed with it at all lengths. It is certainly the stiffest pole I have seen at this price point.
The package is also awesome and the pole comes with nine top kits as standard, plus a mini extension, cupping kit, and Genis 10 holdall – a truly comprehensive package that covers all bases. And as an added bonus, all past and present GXR and GiS poles’ top kits will also fit.
This is one of the best poles that I have seen at this price point and is incredibly stiff. I can honestly say that my pole is only marginally stiffer than this and that’s a £3,000 model!
So, if you are in the market for a new pole, give this one some serious consideration as it really is fantastic for the price.
