Take Up The Challenge
Foreign final for free to enter teams of four league.
The Sensas Challenge is once again running a qualifying league in the North of England.
Headed up by match organisers Lee Kerry and Tom Scholey, the league has been set up to ensure a series of Saturday matches are available for those wanting to fish natural baits, keeping bites coming all through the winter.
“We wanted to run a league that stacked the odds in favour of anglers getting plenty of bites. Winter is always
unpredictable, but the two venues we have chosen in Hayfield and the Stainforth & Keadby mean that anglers should get a good days fishing, as well as a good match!”
“This year we will be basing the league around smaller teams of four and entry to the league is free! The idea is to encourage teams to take part in the league, especially younger anglers who may be put off by high costs” commented Lee.
Pools per match will be £20, with five peg section payouts to ensure plenty of anglers walk away with some winnings.
The top three teams will automatically qualify for the UK Sensas Challenge final, where Britain’s top teams compete for a place in the European grand final.
Dates:
16th Nov Hayfield
23rd Nov Hayfield
14th Dec Hayfield
25th Jan Stainforth and Keaby Canal (Thorne)
22nd Feb Stainforth and Keaby Canal (Thorne)
With the addition of the league to the calendar, there are now three leagues running in the Midlands and North, including the Thorne Teams Of Three, and Matrix Van Den Eydne Teams Of Six League, none of which clash, and all of which hold promise of a great winters fishing.
Teams of four wishing to enter the league should contact Lee (07739 342929) or Tom (07971 620489), or email [email protected]
