Garbolino ace makes young anglers day.
Garbolino and Bait Tech backed match ace, Steve Tucker made one young anglers day at a recent match- by giving him the rod that he had won as a prize in the competition! The young anglers family were so touched by the former Fish O Mania Finalists generosity, that they wrote to Match Fishing Magazine singing his praises.

Mum, Trudie Howard explained: “My fiancee and son recently fished a weekend of matches at Revels Fishery in Dorset. The event was to celebrate the venues 25th birthday and was to be my son, thirteen year old Brenden’s first match.  It was also his first time fishing alone.  He hasn't been fishing for long and has very limited tackle. The match itself turned out to be a difficult event for some of the more experienced anglers, never mind complete novices and unfortunately, despite meticulous preparation, he failed to catch anything.

Steve Tucker had framed in the match and therefore picked up a pellet waggler rod as a prize from Maver’s Steve Mayo, who was sponsoring the event. After posing for the obligatory photo, Mr Tucker turned around and handed the rod straight to Brenden! My Fiancee, Graham,  was totally gob-smacked and thanked Steve for this amazingly kind gesture. He explained that because he is sponsored by Garbolino he had no need for the rod and that Brenden could make more use of it.  

Unfortunately, I was to ill to attend the matches being a chronic asthmatic, so the first I knew of this was when Brenden came bouncing through the door grinning from ear to ear.  He was absolutely over the moon. Brenden was obviously disappointed at blanking in his match, and this kind gesture made his day.  He can't wait to take it out on his next fishing trip.  

On a personal note I would like to thank Steve and say that this has restored my faith in human nature. Brenden will always remember this, as will I.”
