An ingenious groundbait bowl system manufactured from wipe-clean EVA material. Consisting of a large 40cm bowl with zip lid and two smaller bowls that fit inside – Russian doll-style. Sanders optimistic of England Youth’s chances. The Junior and Intermediate World Championship takes place tomorrow, on the River Vilaines in France. England has a team entered into both events, thanks to generous backing from sponsors Drennan and Sensas. Dorking skipper Steve Sanders is manager of the junior team and is optimistic of the squads' chances, explaining: “The venue is absolutely fantastic, and we have enjoyed a great week's practice, with the anglers getting better every day.

Top scientist urges fisheries to 'have a plan. ' One of the UK's foremost authorities on fish and fishery management, Dr Bruno Broughton, has warned of the extreme danger that the current hot, stormy weather is posing to the nation's fisheries. With several high-profile fisheries having closed over recent days, it is thought that the current conditions have already started to take casualties. Alarming figures show 40% drop in young anglers. Environment Agency figures show a 40% drop in junior rod licence sales between 2009 and 2013, a report on the BBC website claims. In 2009, 77,138 junior rod licences were sold, while in 2013 the figure fell to 43,924. In the short film, Geoff Brighty from the Environment Agency explains that the drop in anglers has cost the agency over £1,000,000 - seriously effecting the work that they have been able to do.
